Sorry for my absence D8 midterms are this week and i've been studying and working on my midterm project QWQ but today I decided to color a sketch so my coloring skills don't get rusty

I tried something new here QAQ but I need more practice

Yes this is Iggy and Celeri >w> on a car ride....yep it's not going to be enjoyable. ~~ihaveatendencyofdoingthistocharactershehdontblameme~~

Raindrops continued to fall upon the windows like a slow rhythmic melody. The cars that often passed by would occasionally cause the young woman to turn her gaze away from staring outside the window. Once they were gone she would return her green eyes towards the cloudy sky outside, it was hard to see but she preferred that than to lock eyes with the driver. Ignis didn’t mind the rain and drove quietly focusing on the road, he knew how dangerous wet roads could be, even if he was an expert driver he wasn’t going to risk it. Neither had spoken a word to each other for the past 350 miles letting just the radio be the only source of noise along with the motor.

In the 3 months they had been partnered up it was nothing but arguments and smart remarks thrown back and forth, not once were they able to agree on a plan one made, much less come up with one together. It wasn’t easy to retrieve the crystal shards when these disagreements happened, he wasn’t just going to waltz in the wolf’s mouth and expect nothing to happen without any planning. Sure he could come up with hundreds of plans depending on the mission, escape routes, and so forth. But this time he wasn’t alone, he had another life to worry about.

Taking a glance to his watch Ignis watched the time before looking back towards the road. “Are you hungry?” he asked taking a slight glance towards the female next to him. She had her chin resting on her palm and her gaze outside. If it weren’t for her breathing and her blinking she would pass as a live statue.

Without turning her gaze she replied with a simple cold “no”

Ignis raised his brows slightly turning his light blue eyes towards the road. Licking his lips he remained silent again. Suddenly a growl rose above the stereo’s noise, quickly placing a hand over her stomach Desta tried to shut her stomach up. No matter how hard she clutched her shirt’s fabric the sound just got louder and louder by the passing second.

“Your stomach says otherwise” Ignis commented keeping his voice clam and casual. Desta rolled her eyes giving him a cold glare.

“What are you now? Reader of my body?” Desta snapped still glaring at him. When he turned his gaze to her she turned her eyes away. Once the last part had sunk into her head her cheeks began to turn a deep red. His gaze on her wasn’t helping, the prickling feeling on her cheeks kept increasing by the second. Tapping her fingers on her knee Desta tried to get her mind distracted on something else, so far it wasn’t working. She mumbled something under her breath and ran a hand across her forehead moving her bangs aside trying to create a barrier between them.

“No, i’m a stomach whisperer.” Ignis replied calmly turning his eyes to the road again. Desta’s annoyed expression melted and a confused one took over. Had he just said a joke? A joke? She couldn’t help turn her head fully towards him raising a brow in the progress. Since they had partnered up (thanks to the others’ picking) he had always been the quiet and distant one, never saying more than what was necessary, never opening up about anything. Once Desta felt she had been staring like an idiot she blinked and turned away to stare forward. Either this was a dream or she had heard wrong. Crossing her arms across her chest she tried to keep her body warm despite it being cold all the time.

Noticing this Ignis turned the heater on and put the vents one to him and one to her. Desta didn’t stir and kept on staring forward.

“We’ll stop here to get something to eat and rest for a while” Ignis lifted his hand to see the time again, they had plenty of time to rest, sure he always liked to be early to things but he had to admit his body had started to feel tired, his muscles still felt sore from the last battle they were in. Driving towards an exit he let a soft sigh escape his parted lips. Slowing the vehicle down he drove towards a close by hotel that seemed to be too full. Ignis couldn’t help let a frown appear looking in all directions he didn’t see any others anywhere in sight.

Muttering something under his breath he parked and shut the engine off. Still muttering he got out and went to open Desta’s door which she had already opened and had been getting out. She didn’t say nor turn to him and walked off towards the trunk of the car waiting for him, her arms still crossed across her chest.

So yeah xD neither sleep on the floor but they were thinking of doing so 0wo then again Des did say "You're too tired and you'll rest better on the bed" Iggy said "A woman should never sleep on the ground" yattayattayatta

So that's all

I'll try to get ahead of things so I'll have time to do the art I still have to do OTL

i dont think pillows will be enough to separate the bed *cough*cough*
well when she said "reader of my body" she wasn't thinking much and then well processed "reader" like an open book. As in "naked" in some way
